Rockstar Revolt Killer Citrus Review

Rockstar Revolt Killer Citrus Review:

Overall: 7/10
This is a good energy drink with a nice citrus flavour that isn't too strong and rather refreshing. It's reasonably priced for a branded energy drink and isn't as bad for you as other energy drinks on th market. Unfortunately, the flavour, despite being nice, isn't memorable and doesn't compare to similar energy drinks from monster. I would have it again easily, especially on a hot summers day or if I only had a pound!

Looks: 7.5/10
I really like the vibrant green camo design on the can which is what brought my attention to it. It stands out from other more blandly design cans and just looks appetizing in general. The colour of the drink itself is a cloudy pale white, much the same as the Monster Ultra White or cloudy lemonade.

Flavour: 7.5/10
Although its name suggests that the flavour of this energy drink will be very strong, Killer Citrus actually has quite a refreshing, less harsh citrus taste. The main flavours I got coming through were that of Lime and Grapefruit. There were others but I couldn't put my finger on them. The flavour was good as I like citrus drinks. However, it did lack in power. It still was super refreshing though, making it a good alternative to some monsters.

Price: 6/10
Now, as always, some shops price drinks differently but I bought this drink for 99p. This is cheaper than most branded energy drinks such as Monster and Red-bull which makes it a good option if you've only got a pound on you. Personally, I think it's worth it to spend the extra 20p or so to get something from the Monster Ultra range instead as they are just that little bit better. However, I would definitely consider buying it again if I only had a pound or was looking for something with a less strong flavour.

Healthiness: 4.5/10
Like every energy drink, Killer Citrus is not the healthiest! However, it does have a lot less Vitamin B in it than Monster and is almost zero sugar making it about as healthy as an energy drink can get but that really isn't saying much as it is still unhealthy compared to most other drinks.
