Barrs Cream Soda Review:
Overall: 7.5/10
Not going to lie, this tastes divine if you like vanilla. The taste beats every other cream soda I've tried, as well as vanilla coke. This reigns king of vanilla drinks. It is also very, very cheap compared almost any other drink and is alot healthier than many fizzy drinks too. It's let down a bit by the fact the can is a bit off-putting and the taste dies down a bit after the first few gulps.
Looks: 5.5/10
The design of the can is inoffensive and traditional, but to me the colours of pale pink and pale yellow together on a can aren't exactly appetizing. The drink itself is carbonated and clear meaning it looks like any other clear lemonade or sparkling water.
Flavour: 7.5/10
If you like cream soda, you'll love this. The first few sips of this is simply heaven; it's like a wave of vanilla that not so strong that it's too sweet, but not too subtle that you can barely taste it. It tastes simply of vanilla and vanilla only. If you like that, head to the shops now! The reason I don't give it higher than a 7.5 is because after those first few sips the taste can get a bit boring and seems to weaken. It still tastes great though!
Price: 9.5/10
You won't find much more of a bargain than this. In the UK the price is 37-39p depending on when you get it. And remember that a can of vanilla coke is almost twice the price, and half as good. It's hard to find anything cheaper that tastes this good. Especially if you get a 4-pack which is only £1.39, the same price as some Monsters! If you've only got a 50p coin and you like vanilla, buy this. Buy it now.
Healthiness: 7/10
For something so cheap and sweet, you would expect lots of sugar to be in it. Wrong. This is actually not too bad for you at all. Now, some cans I've got say a can has 15% of the daily recommended amount of sugar, while others say 8%. Both figures though are alot less than most other fizzy drinks though. It's also zero fat and zero salt.
