Monster 'Juiced' Ripper Review

 

 



 Overall: 7.5/10

This is a very fruity flavour with hints of many fruits in it. It is refreshing on a hot day. It isn't too powerful or weak making just right when you want something juicy. I really like this monster and it's almost Caribbean flavour.

 

Looks: 6.5/10

Now this monster has come in at least 3 different can designs overall. Sometimes it's in a bright all yellow can, which looks pretty cool and recently its come in an all black can with just a yellow monster logo, which also looks pretty good. But I'm going to be judging it on the one in the picture as it's the one I've seen the mot here in the UK. It comes in a sort of silvery-grey can with a black square left for the yellow monster logo. Now, to me it doesn't look that great; just a bit basic really. The drink itself is orange in colour and looks like you'd expect for a juice drink. I'm giving it 6.5 because although I don't like this can design, the other two are pretty sick. Of course, there is the trademark monster paragraph on the side which will be at the bottom of this post.

 

Flavour: 7/10

The flavour is very fruity, with flavours of orange, lemon, passion fruit and apple all coming through. I think they've got the balance pretty spot on here, as it isn't too sweet but the kick of the fruit is still powerful, and is perfect when the weather's hot. The first can of this I had, I thought it was a little too powerful but now I think it's perfect and really refreshing. It tastes a lot like Caribbean Crush in some ways. 

 

Price: 5/10

This monster is again like any other with the price being mainly £1.19 but a bit more in some places and bit less in others. Don't think getting this will set you back anymore than buying any other monster though.

 

Healthiness: 2.5/10

Like any monster this is very unhealthy. High caffeine, high vitamin B and high sugar are rife, just like in any other monster. It has a little less sugar than in monster punch or the doctor but it still has nearly 50% of your sugar intake for the day.
